Bush's approval rating even further in the toilet...

Would that make it "in the septic system"? Or perhaps "at the sewage treatment facillity"?

Apparently he's down to the lowest ratings of his presidency (31%), beaten out for the past 50 years only by Nixon and Carter. Good company (btw, Carter is an awesome man, just not shady enough for the presidency. Check out his new book if you haven't already).

Poor Bush, he's got a 13% approval rating for how he's handling the gas situation. The lowest number for probably the situation he has the least control over... Although the current surge in gas prices is probably due at least partly to the whole instability in the Middle East, Iran's baiting us to attack so they can start World War III and Bush is salivating all over the bait thing. That and our ridiculous, ever increasing demand for oil, which hasn't been helped by lenient fuel efficiency standards set by the Bush Administration. Of course he didn't start the fire, but he certainly hasn't been throwing any sand on it. So, yeah, I guess he hasn't helped on the gas prices front much. But still, 13%!!
